Fabric, leather, or faux leather?

In the Netherlands' finest home furnishings mall, you'll find everything you need for sofas, couches, and settees, all comfortably together. However, the selection is so extensive that you'll probably want to make some decisions beforehand, for example, regarding upholstery. Below are some tips to help you choose the right upholstery.

Choose leather if…

• you love a durable material that never goes out of style.
• you also find that leather furniture improves with use: a lived-in and comfortable look that develops over the years.
• you prefer a natural product with an individual look.

Choose a different upholstery if you find leather slippery, cold to the touch, and requires too much maintenance.

Choose faux leather if…

• you love the look of leather, but also appreciate a significantly lower price.
• you want upholstery that is easy to clean; ideal for families with small children.

Choose leather if you want a sofa that is more wear-resistant or if you clearly feel the difference with leather (after all, it's synthetic material on fabric, and that behaves differently).

Choose fabric upholstery if…
